Scenario 01 · about a minute

The volunteer who never says no.

Marcus Reed is the volunteer every church is grateful for and nobody worries about. This is how Scout notices the cost of that before he has to say it out loud.

That sentence is Scout's, word for word. Nobody ran a report to get it.

01 · The pattern

Marcus has served on production six of the last eight Sundays, and he's already on the schedule for this one.

02 · The signal

After each serve, Scout asks every volunteer how it went. Ten seconds, four choices. This week, for the first time, Marcus taps Difficult.

03 · The sentence

Scout doesn't file that away in a report. It speaks up on the schedule itself, at the moment someone is about to ask him again.

Who's your Marcus?

Most pastors can name theirs without looking anything up. Scout is for the ones you can't name yet.
