Giving processes through Stripe Connect directly to your church’s Stripe account. Scout doesn’t add a percentage or a per-transaction fee. The money your members give is the money your church receives, less your Stripe rate.

How giving feeds what Scout notices
Giving sits on the same record as serving, attendance, and groups. That’s why Scout can see when a faithful giver simply stops, and tell the difference between a drift caused by a life event and a drift caused by disengagement. The pastoral picture other tools can’t draw.
What Scout’s giving module doesn’t do yet.
- No pledge tracking yet. If your church runs a capital campaign with formal pledges, you’ll track that off-platform until pledge support ships.
- No corporate-giving or donation-matching workflow yet. Stripe Connect can accept the gift; the matched-employer flow isn’t live.
- No batch ACH file generation for offline giving. Most churches don’t need this; the ones who do, ask.
- No donor portal beyond the member app today. Givers see their own history in the church app; a stand-alone donor portal isn’t separate.
